Morning walk in the garden; 16/09/2016

Be willing to be a beginner every single morning. Meister Eckhard.

Eckhart von Hochheim,  known as Meister Eckhart, was a German theologian, philosopher and mystic.
 Born 1260 near Gotha, Germany, in the Landgraviate of Thuringia in the Holy Roman Empire.
He died 1328 in Avignon France.

Along the driveway, admiring flowering salvias in the butterfly garden...

....towards the bush garden.

Saw this cute moth, wings streamlined turned upwards, like a futuristic aeroplane.

Erithryna cristagalli serves as a natural nursery for all sorts of ferns. Seeds distributed by the wind lodge on the bark, which seems to be ideal for fern propagation.

Elk- and staghorn ferns establishing themselves.

The bark looks like cork keeping humidity well for the ferns.

A pretty leaf, its colour highlighted by a sunbeam.

Bark of a Casuarina tree also called she-oak.

Pretty new leaves of Syzygium wilsonii. A very attractive weeping, native shrub/tree. Later it will show of its beautiful pompom flowers.

Pretty "doilies" Lichen on bush rock.

Believe it or not;
Morning is the best part of the day.
