Morning walk in the garden; 16/09/2016

Be willing to be a beginner every single morning. Meister Eckhard.

Eckhart von Hochheim,  known as Meister Eckhart, was a German theologian, philosopher and mystic.
Born 1260 near Gotha, Germany, in the Landgraviate of Thuringia in the Holy Roman Empire.
He died 1328 in Avignon France.

Along the driveway, admiring flowering salvias in the butterfly garden...

....towards the bush garden.

Saw this cute moth, wings streamlined turned upwards, like a futuristic aeroplane.

Erithryna cristagalli serves as a natural nursery for all sorts of ferns. Seeds distributed by the wind lodge on the bark, which seems to be ideal for fern propagation.

Elk- and staghorn ferns establishing themselves.

The bark looks like cork keeping humidity well for the ferns.

A pretty leaf, its colour highlighted by a sunbeam.

Bark of a Casuarina tree also called she-oak.

Pretty new leaves of Syzygium wilsonii. A very attractive weeping, native shrub/tree. Later it will show of its beautiful pompom flowers.

Pretty "doilies" Lichen on bush rock.

Believe it or not;
Morning is the best part of the day.

Spring has arrived...

...as always with a motley variety of colourful blooms.

Spring lets you plan, awakes you to try new adventures wherever you are, whatever you do, spring never fails you. Ts

The easily grown Dendrobium Orchids belong into the spring garden.

Mango tree in flower, expecting a good crop.

A breath of soft blue from salvia fallax

Johnny jump up

Osteospermumdaisybushes genus of flowering plants belonging to the Calenduleae, one of the smaller tribes of the sunflower/daisy family Asteraceae.

They are available in many colours and play a big part in my subtropical garden, as they are also  easily propagated from cuttings.

Spring, birdsong in moll and dur early in the morning.

.... back in full vigor, the lovely Black Knight Salvia.

Lavender for its beauty, toughness and warm scent.

Tillandsia lives on air; what a great makeup.

Mini peach tree has put on a new show  of dark red leaves.

French lavender always in my garden. Love the combination of soft lavender colour and grey, nature always at its best.

Emerging Salvia blooms, perfect.

Geranium, an oldie but a goodie.

Azalea Madame Bolton in full spring regalia.

Browallia

Sunny yellow suits my garden.

The absolutely gorgeous  Abutilon

No spring garden without the perfume of Orange blossoms, promising juicy fruit next winter.

Delightful orange Abutilon, bird and bees love them for their nectar.

Here, Salvia Meigan's Magic ready for her flowering time, spring and all summer long.

Wonderful snow white Gerbera, always great performers, spring and summer into autumn.

Believe it or not;

...there are many more to see, to smell, to touch to enjoy.
