  9. A real treat to stroll around your garden,Trudi. You have a lovely collection with charming names.

About your question on my blog, I have not been able to identify the pink cluster of blooms. The nursery person wasn't able to tell me but he said it's a shrub. Its height is only about 2' now.

  12. Have you read her books?

'The Clan of the Cave Bear' is a 1986 film based on the book of the same name by Jean M. Auel.Directed by Michael Chapman, the film stars Daryl Hannah as Ayla, a young Cro-Magnon woman who was separated from her family during an earthquake and found by a group of Neanderthals.

Yesterday, I was thinking about the Book I read about ten years ago, and couldn't think of the title. But I remember it now. It's about the clan who harvested seeds.

  15. A friend gave me a white Hippeastrom for Christmas. I can't wait to see the blooms! Your beauties are a sight for sore eyes on this frigid winter day! What soft, lovely pinks! I love the gorgeous Christmas Lily too.
I also enjoyed browsing through your 'unkempt garden' post and a few previous posts. Love your Waratah and Tulip Tree and glorious skies! You have such a huge variety of wonderful plants. Your hard work is richly rewarded and the love you have for gardening is clearly evidenced. I'm so glad you share your delightful garden with us dear Trudi :)
